Other Projects
Eurilla Project
Eurilla, 40km north of Kimba, is along strike from the Wilcherry Hill and Hercules iron ore projects, Menninnie Dam zinc-lead-silver and Paris silver deposits to the northwest and has potential for iron ore, uranium, manganese, silver and base metal mineralisation.
Previous work on has identified:
- In situ hematite-magnetite Inferred Resource of 21.7 Mt @ 33.3% Fe.
- Uranium up to 0.05%-0.07% U with up to 0.1% Pb, 0.7% Zn & 0.5% Cu in a 5ha zone open to north and south along strike.
- Manganese mineralisation grading up to 66% MnO with associated copper, cobalt and silver
- Multiple areas of anomalous Ag, Au, Cu, Zn and U, with four prospects (Skaro, Mondas, Gallifrey and Sonar Prospects) identified as being prospective for epithermal style mineralisation.
We are assessing our next steps for exploration at this project.
Gum Flat Iron Ore Project
Our Gum Flat Iron Ore Project on the southern Eyre Peninsula has a Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource of 109 million tonnes at 24.8% Fe. This includes some hematite-goethite, which is suitable for direct shipping, and a portion of magnetite, which would require processing into a high-grade concentrate for sale.
We continue to consider development strategies for this project.
Minbrie Copper Project
At Minbrie, just north of Lucky Bay on the southern Eyre Peninsula, drilling has returned a strong base metal intercept of 29.5m at 0.76% copper, 7.37% lead, 1.88% zinc and 9.0g/t silver in skarn.
A ground electromagnetic (EM) survey was completed after this, however highly saline groundwater in the area affected the results of this.
We are seeking a joint venture partner to progress the encouraging discoveries at this project to date.
