Minbrie Copper and Base Metals Project
The Minbrie Copper-Lead-Zinc Project is a significant base metals opportunity located on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, within the world-class Gawler Craton. Recent exploration has confirmed a large-scale mineralised system extending over a 7km strike length, with multiple sulphide-rich zones and strong potential for further discoveries.

Minbrie was originally drilled in 2011 by Centrex Metals Ltd. as part of an iron ore exploration program, with copper and base metal mineralisation intersected but not followed up at the time. Lincoln’s detailed geological review has since confirmed that mineralisation is hosted within the Katunga Dolomite footwall sequence, a highly prospective setting for base and precious metals deposits.
The project’s standout intersection—29.5m @ 0.8% Cu, 7.5% Pb, 1.9% Zn, and 9.0 g/t Ag from 131.1m—highlights the strong grades and scale potential at Minbrie. Further analysis of historical drill data has identified multiple untested target zones, with 85% of historic holes failing to reach the key mineralised horizon and only 16% of the prospective footwall sequence assayed for base metals.
Strategically located at the correct structural address, adjacent to the Kalinjala Shear Zone. This area is known for its proximity to deep-seated, mantle-tapping structures commonly associated with significant mineral deposits. This is a crucial indicator of potential success.
Additionally, the project is situated within the highly endowed Copper Belt, a region renowned for its rich mineral resources. This further enhances the prospectivity of our exploration efforts.
Lincoln is advancing a systematic exploration program at Minbrie, including:
- Re-assaying of historical drill core to identify additional mineralisation.
Geological modelling to refine targets and confirm the scale of the mineralised system.
Drilling programs planned to extend mineralisation along strike and at depth.
Strategically positioned within a proven mining region, Minbrie has strong infrastructure access and is located near major discoveries, reinforcing its potential to become a significant base metals development.
